last week I got a package in the mail with a sweet thank you note.
It was from the art director of the book for which I had illustrated
the cover. The whole jacket and the inside design came out so
nicely. Thank you Alison for all your amazing work.
The story is about a young girl who lives in ninth ward of
New Orleans when the hurricane Katrina hits. It's a powerful
and moving story beautifully written by Jewell Parker Rhodes.
So excited to get a signed copy! yay!
